Financial troubles

Diaconal work

Deacons assist people who need help with financial issues or have worries that they want to talk about with somebody, whether the issue is spiritual or not. Our particular aim is to try and to reach those who need help the most and who do not receive the help they need from anywhere else.

Please be aware that if you need financial help, you first need to contact Kela and the social security services. The material aid that the diaconal work can provide is limited and is intended to be temporary. There are several food banks in the Turku area where free food can be obtained.
