Family Counseling

The Family counseling center provides professional counseling on issues concerning couple relationships, families and individual lives. You can come to counseling alone or with a partner. Our work methods include individual therapy, couple and family therapy, supervision of work, therapeutic groups, conciliation on family matters, training and lectures.

Family counseling is provided by counselors at Turku Cathedral on the first Tuesday of every month between 15:00–17:00. You can come to these sessions without booking a time.

How to book a time

Initially, it is best to call our office, 040 341 7249 Mon 9–11, Tue–Fri 9–12. You can also send our office a request to contact you by filling in a contact formThe link opens in a new tab (the link opens in a new tab). Based on your request you will receive a call from our office. The office makes a maximum of three attempts to call. If we don’t reach you, you’ll have to contact the center again.

The family counseling center serves the following regions: Huittinen (Vampula), Kaarina (Piikkiö), Kemiönsaari (Dragsfjärd, Kemiö, Västanfjärd), Lieto (Aura, Ilmarinen, Tarvasjoki), Loimaa (Alastaro, Mellilä), Masku (Lemu, Askainen), Mynämäki (Mietoinen), Naantali (Merimasku, Rymättylä, Velkua), Nousiainen, Paimio (Sauvo-Karuna), Parainen (Houtskari, Iniö, Korppoo, Nauvo), Pöytyä (Karinainen, Kyrö, Riihikoski, Oripää, Yläne), Raisio, Rusko (Vahto), Säkylä-Köyliö, Turku.

The service is free of charge and available for everyone. The service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
